Yes, we need to talk about it ad nauseum, but not change the way we do anything until we can no longer do it.
Yeah, you already see the talking points. “but the economy” and “weather is always changing”.
But this climate thing is costing them money too now. People staying out of the streets because of heat is less spending. Cities saying they’ll have to adapt promptly demand several billions because adapting ain’t cheap.
Human caused climate change is just an isolated fluke. It has only been caused by humans once in 13 billion years. And once the humans wipe themselves out the climate will rebalance itself.
We’ve broken heat records two days in a row now —and will break another today, as we’ve already broken many records before this year.
To put this in perspective: the last cold record was about 4 years ago…
