Husband and I loved hotpot train so much yesterday we are gonna invest in a cooktop, pot and a lazy susan.

I once had a dream about my old man dog, a chihuahua x pom, in which he had (in the most disturbing of circumstances) “But, Mother, why must I stave?” and I am still traumatised by that dream and Toby has been gone nearly 2 years.
In saying that, I love when Alfie jumps on me at 4am, in hoping I’ll wake up to feed him and I launch him across the room… only to hear him go to this bowl and start nomming on the bikkies that have been there all freakin’ night.

Have just finished up the cooking of a slow-roast chicken (with lemon & garlic). It worked spectacularly well. Haven’t done that recipie for aaaaages but was easily as good as I remember. Lots of leftover juice too which is going to be a ramen base come Monday.
