I am not sure what a second season of the show would even be. The story is wrapped up nicely, so the best they could do is a new Spider-Noir story set in the same universe, a sequel, not a continuation.
I am guessing that Amazon filmed the first season, saw how good it turned out, and decided that they were going to flog a dead horse. Luckily the audience was good but not amazing, so the greed cleared from their eyes and they thought better.
It was kind-of meh, to be honest.
I’m honestly surprised it wasn’t intended to be a one season show.
agreed. Cage was entertaining in the role but the show in general was forgettable.
I had actually completely forgotten about it until right now.
I only saw two or three episodes and liked it enough that i planned to continue, but i forgot, and i have a hard time remembering what even happened.
A bit too Nicholas Cagey for me.
I like the guy but some roles are not for him…
It reminded me a lot of the later-seasons CW DC shows, which is not necessarily a good thing. I don’t regret watching it, but I’m not exactly pining for more either.
The dual BW/colour thing was definitely cool tech thing - if nothing else!
I like Cage. I like the show. But, I thought he was a poor choice for this. He’s too old. Someone in their 40s or even 50s would have been better.
Too bad. I thought it was a great watch. I only saw the black and white version (by choice of course).
