Mount Sinai Health System has agreed to stop providing gender-affirming medical care to minors under a settlement with the Trump administration, making one of New York’s largest hospital systems the latest provider to retreat as federal officials use investigations, subpoenas, and funding pressure to reshape transgender people’s access to health care nationwide.
The cowards and collaborators are almost as guilty as Trump and his goons.

“Mount Sinai Health System” presumably includes primary care, psychology, and pharmacy services. Meaning that gender questioning girls and boys now have to go somewhere else to recognize if/that they are trans, come to terms with the bundle of other issues, and get or fulfill prescriptions for either puberty blockers or HRT.
Sinai’s cowardice will result in children suffering and possibly dying by suicide.

I don’t understand that headline. What does it mean “just as the DoJ loses in court?” The article didn’t say ANYTHING about that. If they settled, but the DoJ lost anyway, then if I were the Hospital, I’d just renege on the deal. Fuck you, you lost, I’m not complying. I don’t feel any obligation to play fair with MAGA.
