    Candles! Still trying to figure out how to not have them melt all over the desk.

      Retail candles are usually hardened by mixing with a micro-wax such as Paraflint. If you’re only using bees wax then it would be difficult but you could try mixing fine additives such as tree resin after melting the wax, or you could add calcium sulfate hemihydrate. Please note that whatever you add will have a scent which may be undesirable.

        I’ve used mostly olive stearine. I shall look into those additives
