That wasn’t really an answer, my comment was trying to understand why people want that. Obviously there are personal preferences involved, I just wanted to hear from someone that wanted it as to why.

My question is why the heck do people keep mentioning NPCs with dynamic chatter? Why do people even want that or see that as a good thing?

Yea, honestly I don’t know anyone that has bought or plans on buying a Switch 2, but I know a lot of people that bought or have Switch 1. Of course, that’s anecdotal, but shits just way too pricey. I and most that I know got into the Switch because of the affordability and on-the-go console play. Half of that equation is gone, and we already have the on-the-go console play with Switch 1.

We also have sales taxes in Canada, but that precentage depends on the province or territory. So you could expect the final Canadian price to go as high as $710 CAD.
BotW and its sequel are so unlike any other Zelda game, I doubt having played or grown up with other Zelda games would be helpful.

Dreaming of, or warning about?
Reworded DND rules sounds really rough
What’s even worse about this is that the original Kickstarter pitch said it’d be a classless, points based system. So to then go and just reword D&D is… yea. I’m not convinced anyone in the team actually knows what they’re doing.

The whole reason behind it was to socialise with others in person and trade.
Now, though, the whole “multiple versions” is kinda pointless and just gates things, as you said.

Yea, that’s one of the ones that is excluded. Usually just the smaller contained rooms.

I’ve replayed this game maybe 4 times, I love it! Hope you enjoy your time with it all the way through.
FWIW, you do have safe spots.
Any room with a typewriter he cannot get into.

Avatar Legends is the new name for the franchise overall. I suppose it’s to differentiate from Cameron’s Avatar.

I suppose my experience may be different than others, I’m at the tail end of Act 3 and I have yet to grind for rosaries or shards. I remember people saying I’d need to do that, and I never have.

Why do we continue to give Nintendo excuses for their shitty anti-consumer practices?
If these are just because of US tariffs, why increase the price of Switch 1 consoles that are already in Canada and don’t need to be shipped through the US? Why increase digital games that aren’t being shipped at all? Not to mention, they opened the floodgates for the price increase in games.

It’s a pretty low price already, and I personally think the devs deserve it. Hope you enjoy!

I get the inherent value people attach to it, but after having it several times (I’d have it for a month or two and then drop it for like, a year), I would never go back to it even if it still seemed like a good deal.
For an app developed by Microsoft and working on a PC, it has some awful pathing, and I lost saves and had issues launching games on multiple occasions. Tried many fixes and it never worked out. Some games would work for me, others wouldn’t. So for me, since it felt like a toss up to get a game to work, it was pointless.

Not that you’ll see this, but I mean that you’re being incredibly rude, argumentative and a bully towards them. You can disagree with someone without being a dick about it. This Lemmy instance is becoming more like the reddit game subreddit by the day, I swear.

You’ve been on lemmy for a day and have replied to this post bashing the OP like 5 times. Relax.

Wow our dollar is shit. Not certain where the $120+ is coming from, then. But it is clickbait, so I suppose that’s the point.
Yea, I’m all for new additions to the genre, but can we stop giving lazy slop games articles and the time of day? This doesn’t require as much attention as it is getting.
