We just add a bit of water to the dry food.

Not necessarily. They could be down voted because what they mentioned is hated for a good reason. Like if someone posts “Nazis” or “cancer”.
No! Don’t release more balloons!
I want to add that it’s not just kids. I have seen it from people in their mid to late 20’s and 30’s too. Apple + iMessage is the default for many people. Maybe not the kind of people using the fediverse but it’s very common in the real world US.
This is possible on kbin.
Yes but sometimes an employer’s idea of efficiency and the real world do not line up. They won’t tell employees to disregard safety protocols or urinate in bottles explicitly. It becomes the only way for the employee to meet their quota and keep their job.
More likely it takes out democracy.
Yes but if for example management is pressuring employees to make repairs in X amount of time that causes them to have to rush, its the company’s fault. Similar to Norfolk Southern giving train engineers 45 seconds per train car to do safety inspections.
The whole thing is floppy now.
Its not the microwave, its the plastic container.
I agree with you… It passes people off because their entire life is dependent on fossil fuels. When its been encouraged by society/government for decades and now people have to drive miles to get to the nearest grocery store/point of interest they don’t have an alternative that isn’t uprooting their whole lives.
If you are going tax gas what it should be taxed, you also need to simultaneously make changes that will help people transition to sustainable alternatives. An amount of people will resist no matter what but you need a carrot to go along with the stick.
Since you have an electric fan I’m hoping you have electricity. If you can get ahold of some ice or cold items you can use it to cool major blood vessels and the cooled blood travels through your body. Like a radiator. A few weeks ago I was eating hot food outside in the hot humid heat (Florida) and squeezing a plastic cup of ice water between my wrists at the table was a huge relief.
I think what they mean is that taking your example with blue protocol, that same thing can happen both within instances and between instances. I do think it will eventually sort itself out but will take longer.
To be fair the first time they mention “safety impacts” the words “safety impacts” is actually a link to a study on the subject. It would be better to include a brief summation since no one is going to pause reading an article in the first paragraph to read a study.
