You have not used Thunderbird in a long time I guess. It has changed its UI a lot
Without FCM, push notifications become much harder due to the battery saving optimizations each device manufacturer uses. So not a need per se, but it makes your life MUCH harder
They are great for taking your sweat away from your body. The problem is they also get you skin oils as well, which is why the smell a lot more than cotton for example that only holds onto the water part of your sweat
Personally, I love merino wool t-shirts. Try one out, a summer one that is thin
Anxiety sweat make you smell worse than temperature regulation sweat btw. Also try to avoid polyester fabrics. Maybe try merino t-shirts as well
Having android related communities be on one, specific instance has done wonders for the community imho
The PWA is very decent for a basic browsing experience. There are a few in the works, most notable being Artemis which is now in public beta I think. It uses the new Kbin API which is also in beta.
For now, the app can only be used with the artemis.camp instance, but soon Kbin.social and the rest Kbin instances will use the API and be usable with the app as well. It is inspired by Apollo btw
Try out Kbin, as well. Personally I have none of the usual Lemmy complaints
It isn’t. It has nothing to do with a gun
I use my PC for a combination of office work, programming and gaming. OpenSUSE is also my choice!
I have been running OpenSUSE Leap on my home server for 3 years, and I moved from Fedora after many years to OpenSUSE Tumbleweed on both my work and home (gaming) PC. I am super happy!
Having done the same trip (years of Fedora, then OpenSUSE) I’m super happy with my experience
Just stay away from anything that has a dedicated Nvidia GPU. I have tried everything, still no distro apart from popOS! that didn’t massacre my battery…
Having settings, viewed posts etc sync between devices requires expenses through a server or service
AI should be trained by itself though. I just wouldn’t call LLMs “AI” as a term
Also, it shall be possible in the future to just feed it the documentation and have answers. Obviously we are still nowhere near yet
Schiptol in Amsterdam is my most hated airport I have ever visited. Last year it had huge wait times and even after “it was back to normal”, it was often that the queues were ridiculously long.
So when you have to wait 4,5 hours just to get to security check, you know that you will miss your flight for sure… So I had to take a night train to Duesseldorf, wait all night in the airport, and get the first flight home. Which was delayed 2 hours…
A NYE about a decade ago, I went to my then GF’s neighborhood to spend the night together. At around 5am we left the bar and I wanted to head to the bus station to get the first bus of the day about an hour later. My GF proposed to go to her home to sleep for a few hours and return later. Didn’t want to go because her mother would be sleeping but she insisted.
A couple of hours later I went to the bus station. It was completely missing, a drunk 17yo got his father’s car with 2 friends, crashed into the station, killing both friends and a girl waiting for the 1st bus to go to her work. He survived…
There is Artemis. You can apply to enter the beta on their community
I live in Athens, and the oldest home still standing is about 500 years old (start of 16th century)
