Russia will take years to replace nuclear-capable bomber planes that were hit in Ukrainian drone strikes last weekend, according to Western military aviation experts, straining a modernisation programme that is already delayed.

Satellite photos of airfields in Siberia and Russia’s far north show extensive damage from the attacks, with several aircraft completely burnt out, although there are conflicting versions of the total number destroyed or damaged.

The United States assesses that up to 20 warplanes were hit - around half the number estimated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy - and around 10 were destroyed, two U.S. officials told Reuters.

Wouldn’t it be funny if all these various nations just did a reverse uno and like 20 different nations started invading Russia and slicing it up for territorial gain?

Russia is so weak right now.

My dream is a united EU assault on Moscow to dethrone Putin and the Oligarchs and, hopefully, return the nation to a less corrupt state.

This is going to happen. The European age verification and messenger surveillance are preparations to control any remaining opposition for that war.

Why else would it be introduced? If they don’t plan to lock down the entire internet, the age verification is useless. It could be security theater but it receives full media attention. So it is important. What else but war could be so important that it demands so much power over civil liberty?

My theory? To fight Nintendo switch 2 scalpers. It makes more sense than your theory if you could think about it.

It could be. So you agree that the surveillance laws don’t make much sense?

I haven’t said anything about those laws making sense or not, I’ve only implied your reasoning doesn’t make sense.

It may be the safest bet at dismantling this constant threat for good. Oftentimes the only way the bully learns is when they’re pushed back twice as hard.

Other than that, an Eastern European country really has no business having as much territory in Central and East Asia as Russia does. It’s like if Britain never lost its colonial empire; the whole thing should be torn down so woke shit like the right to self-determination can come to Russia.

russia still has lots of nukes at their disposal which acts as nuclear deterrent and many millions would die trying to slice up russia (getting downvoted because of facts, what a joke some people are)
