Please consider finding sources for stories like this other than CBS news. They don’t deserve your clicks/eyeballs/whatever.

Google Do an Internet search for who owns cbs/paramount now. Then google do an Internet search for Bari Weiss, current head of cbs news. They want to own CNN next as part of the current WBD sale.

Search. The verb you’re trying to use is “search”. Took me three times to figure out that you weren’t saying Google owns Paramount/CBS.

Also, just save them the trouble and say it’s Larry Ellison, problematic billionaire owner of Oracle.

Ok. Also it’s more complicated than just Larry Ellison, which is why I said to do an Internet search/google it. Also if I said “search” the reader probably would have interpreted it as “do a search around here (Lemmy). But whatever, let’s concentrate on being pedantic rather than the message.

CBS News is about to go full MAGA. They’re firing EVERYBODY. They intend to join the Conservative Propaganda Machine, and give Fox News a run for their money.

After they’re done with the news division, they’ll be going after programming. That will take a while longer to cancel “Woke” programming, and replace it with new MAGA productions, and get them to the screen.

I do my job well. I can expect some level of competence from others as well, without having the same profession.

Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.

7. No duplicate posts.

If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.

8. Misinformation is prohibited.

Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
